Something profoundly disturbed me when I read Ed Koch’s recent article concerning his public intention to vote for George W. Bush in November’s Presidential elections. Do you know how many times Americans have used firearms to thwart crimes and defend themselves over the past year? The AgJobs bill (S. 1645) and the Dream Act (S. 1545) make about as much sense as naming an airline in honor of Mohammad Atta. With 8-12 million illegals in the United States, we are clearly not enforcing our existing immigration laws. Israel must reform itself until scandal and corruption are an exception like elsewhere, not the way things are done. McCain-Feingold limits the freedom of speech. There's no better way to explain it. |
