Although my father and I have spent many hours immersed in baseball either playing or discussing it, my mother is the one who actually gets the credit for sparking my passion for the game.

The only question is, is Harriet Miers the right affirmative-action nominee? I find it somewhat ironic that we’re discussing how to teach the origins of life when we can’t even straighten out how to teach what happened after it began. |
