It is time to do something about illegal immigration and abortion. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office recently put on a conference to address illegal immigration. Too bad governors like Arizona’s liberal Janet Napolitano have only given lip service to illegal immigration, and have consistently vetoed bills to protect human life. There is a sad correlation between abortion and illegal immigration.
Today, I’m going to tell you a tale that could have come straight out of the annals of Ripley’s “Believe It or Not.”
Not very many people have made the connection, but I believe that Legal Abortion in America is at least partially to blame for the human flood of Illegal Immigration streaming daily across our borders. Some will immediately dismiss this suggested linkage as being too far-fetched and preposterous – but before rejecting the idea, let’s take a look at some interesting numbers.
In 1973, the year that the notorious Roe v Wade decision became the law of the land, American women legally murdered 615,831 innocent unborn children. The grisly toll rose year by year, until by 1982 the number of annual abortions had doubled, reaching almost 1,304,000. Of course, these are the documented deaths, they fail to include the additional thousands of babies murdered outside the medical realm.
According to statistics from the Centers for Disease Control, the first eleven years of legal abortions in America killed about 11.9 million babies (from 1973 to 1983). If those aborted children had lived and grown to adulthood, their median age today would be 30.5 years old.
Now, the number of estimated illegal immigrants in the U.S.A. ranges from 10.3 million to 15 million; so add these two numbers together and divide by two, and you get about 12.5 million as a pretty close guesstimate of how many illegal workers, mostly Mexican, are now in America.
Is this mere coincidence, or is there some direct correlation between those two numbers, 11.9 million and 12.5 million? I think it is both. Without question, at least part of the reason why we have illegal immigrants crossing our borders in droves is because there is a need for more cheap laborers in the fields and factories of America. It is a simple economic proposition: increased demand creates its own supply.
In fact, these same feminist-inspired demographic trends have resulted in 34 million women joining the workforce between 1970 and 2000, during a time when American birth rates dropped from 18.4 to 13.9 per thousand. The new addition of these women to the workforce has helped to mask the growing demand for labor during a time of explosive economic expansion, “from 5.03 trillion in 1970 to 11.75 trillion in 2004 as measured in 2005 dollars,” as WorldNetDaily columnist Vox Day brilliantly pointed out in his August 15 column entitled “Girls just want to have fun.”
Day also warned that the American birth rate has fallen “by 25 percent to sub-replacement levels,” and this sterile trend threatens all of Western Civilization from North America to Europe. So maybe I’m not the only voice crying in the wilderness about the economic problems that legalized abortions have caused in our society.
True, the U.S. desperately needs welfare reform. There are far too many idle Americans who could do at least some of the menial, hard and dirty jobs that now go to illegal immigrants by default. Certainly, we need to cultivate a better work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit among our own people.
Nevertheless, I still believe that at least 50 percent of the problem we face is the fact that we have killed off almost 12 million potential workers in the U.S.A. who would now be between the ages of 26 and 35. Nature abhors a vacuum, economic or otherwise.
As the years pass we will see if my hypothesis is correct. If I am wrong, then illegal immigration eventually will level off. However, that massive influx of humanity shows no sign of slacking. As the number of abortions continues to increase each year, so does the growing tide of illegal aliens crossing our borders and filling our cities.
Here’s a recent first that does not bode well for our future. Just last week, the white American population of the state of Texas was officially declared to be a minority. Unless we somehow manage to seal our borders, California and New Mexico may not be far behind.
Here are some more disturbing figures. Between 1983 and 1993, we aborted 13.5 million babies in the U.S. Their median age today would be 20.5. These are nonexistent, wasted human beings who would be either in college right now, or just graduating high school and starting a job and maybe a family of their own.
Who will replace them? Most likely, 15 million more foreign-born Hispanics with a propensity for hard work and a burning desire to reclaim the American Southwest for Mexico.
As the famous carnival showman Ripley would say: “Believe It or Not.”

A few years ago, I attended a conference during which Dr. Wilke, of Human Life International, highlighted this same problem in global proportion. At the time, he was writing a book on the subject, which I assume has now been released.
He brought to bear the natality/mortality statistics of many countries, including the U.S.
He pointed out several alarming trends in the numbers:
-Due to abortion and contraception, 11 European countries (at the time) were below replacment birth rates. (and had been for some time) The U.S. was right on the cusp of tending toward extinction, right behind those 11 nations.
-What the Turks have failed to accomplish in 4000 yrs. of intermittent warfare, they were going to accomplish with natality and immigration; The conquest of Greece. More to blame is the birthrate of the Greeks, than the active intent of the Turkish people.
-As long as Israel continues its social position, its time as a nation is also in question. Surges in immigration from cultural Jews around the world have bolstered the population, but it is not a lifeline to be counted upon indefinitely.
-The population inversion caused by the twofold threat, forces an ever increasing dependance upon the ever dwindling workforce. This in turn tends toward a mentality of extermination; euthanasia of the elderly, infirm, and unproductive. Look to the Netherlands for that. The arbiters of the death decisions will rest with insurance companies, in whose fiscal interest it is to eliminate the liability.
Without a closed border, of course, populations move to fill the void. Thus, the effect of the contraception/abortion mentality is temporarilly hidden, as the economic effects are initially less concrete. No one woke up one day to notice, “Gee, this isn’t the Roman Empire anymore.” until it was way too late.
I do not speak for Dr. Wilke, and hope I haven’t misrepresented his postion. I would very much like to find that book.
I don’t think the abortion link is far fetched at all, the western world – because of liberal/feminist “ideas” – is slowly commiting suicide;
A society that has no children has no future….
And so I thought these little excerpts from a Mark Steyn piece would be Ă propos:
” [...] When it comes to forecasting the future, the birthrate is the nearest thing to hard numbers. If only a million babies are born in 2006, it’s hard to have two million adults enter the workforce in 2026 (or 2033, or 2037, or whenever they get around to finishing their Anger Management and Queer Studies degrees).
And the hard data on babies around the Western world is that they’re running out a lot faster than the oil is. “Replacement” fertility rate–i.e., the number you need for merely a stable population, not getting any bigger, not getting any smaller–is 2.1 babies per woman.
Some countries are well above that: the global fertility leader, Somalia, is 6.91, Niger 6.83, Afghanistan 6.78, Yemen 6.75. Notice what those nations have in common?…”
” [...] Scroll way down to the bottom of the Hot One Hundred top breeders and you’ll eventually find the United States, hovering just at replacement rate with 2.07 births per woman.
Ireland is 1.87, New Zealand 1.79, Australia 1.76. But Canada’s fertility rate is down to 1.5, well below replacement rate; Germany and Austria are at 1.3, the brink of the death spiral; Russia and Italy are at 1.2; Spain 1.1, about half replacement rate.
That’s to say, Spain’s population is halving every generation.
By 2050, Italy’s population will have fallen by 22%, Bulgaria’s by 36%, Estonia’s by 52%.
In America, demographic trends suggest that the blue states ought to apply for honorary membership of the EU: In the 2004 election, John Kerry won the 16 with the lowest birthrates; George W. Bush took 25 of the 26 states with the highest.
By 2050, there will be 100 million fewer Europeans, 100 million more Americans–and mostly red-state Americans. …
[...] Of the increase in global population between 1970 and 2000, the developed world accounted for under 9% of it, while the Muslim world accounted for 26%…
[...] In 1970, the developed world had twice as big a share of the global population as the Muslim world: 30% to 15%. By 2000, they were the same: each had about 20%. …
[...] Permanence is the illusion of every age. In 1913, no one thought the Russian, Austrian, German and Turkish empires would be gone within half a decade….
[...] A society that has no children has no future….”
Perhaps not, my good sir. I would rather not do such a thing, such as violate your little mind with obscenely easy concepts, so I shall not utilize logic. You smell of elderberries and your mother is a shrew!
What an eccentric performance Mr. Cobb. So long as we’re considering the possibility of coconuts migrating, I will eagerly hear your logic.
What this article says about abortion being linked with the influx of illegal immigrants could be very possible.
Currently I am working in Germany (I’m originally from Florida.) and people look at me funny when they see that I have five children. The statement here is, “Families with 3 children or more are social cases.” Even though I have a good paying job and have been very capable of supporting my family without the help of any government aid.
What this attitude of the Germans have shown is exactly what we see happening in the United States. The Germans are now a minority in their own country. Everywhere I look I see Turkish people, Bosnians, Albanians, People from North Africa, and Russians. The culture of the landscape is slowly changing. You see Mosque going up everywhere (notice that the first four groups are 90 to 100% Muslim nations.). You hardly hear anybody speaking the traditional German of the area they are from because the mixture of the other countries has made an influence.
So being that I haven’t only noticed the trend in my own country but also the country where I have been a guest the last 10 years, this article is easy for me to believe.
I believe that it is likely that there would be the strongest correlation with high illegal immigration rates and the strength and divergence (Strong laws there and weak laws here.) between illicit drug laws in Mexico and the USA.
I have searched for evidence of this on the web but was not able to find any information on drug law changes in Mexico. Although I do remember, when I was young around the early 70s, hearing that the drug laws had become much more stringent in Mexico.
I did find a lot of history about illegal immigration and its increase in about 1965 when Ted Kennedy authored bills through congress that replaced the previous racial quota system, which was said to be racist, with whatever it is that we have now.
The historical articles did not state how the quota system worked, I would be very interested in reading about this. My guess is there is a way to now build such a system without the racist content. But then we can also now monitor the borders with an automated computer systems, its all just a matter of will.
I am referring to a recent article which I saw that said Sandia Labs has developed for the army an ultrawideband radar communications system that runs with a signal below background noise, making it almost impossible to hack into, and can locate the enemy in an area — enemy hidden behind brush, inside tents, or over a hill.
The historical articles also stated that before the quota system illegal immigration had been a problem and was out of control.
I believe that those who have the greatest motivation to come to the USA do so because they are casual drug users and that this is true for most illegals and being a drug user and poor in Mexico is very dangerous and likely to lead to a long and stay in Mexico prisons, thus the motivation is great.
I think I remember as a kid hearing that Mexico was waffling back and forth for a few years between tough and weak drug laws and then settled on very strong drug laws and then after a couple of years immigration started to become a problem here and every time we weakened our drug laws the immigration problem increased greatly.
I grew up in California in an area with many hispanics and have known on my fathers farm many previously illegal hispanics and most of them have drug problems which is mostly evidenced by their first born male children who have just recently become adults and are all in prison for drug related problems. One older boy just had his third felony drugged driving conviction where he killed people in the car that he hit.
It is often said that the drug problems begin in the USA and that the elders that move here from Mexico were not drug users, this is nonsense, most are either drug users or heavy drinkers who do it to act tough so they are not afraid to experiment with drugs and the macho attitude of Latinos perpetuates this but these elders only display their true macho attitude in private or the bars.
I find that most Californians are in huge denial about what is going on around them, the most visible example of this being the movie, “What would California be like without Mexicans.”
The simple answer to this question is that it would be more like Spain or Germany or some other European nation that does not rely on illegal immigrants for manual labor jobs.
The denial that I see in California is a slave owner/slave mentality where Mexican labor, the slaves, are payed respect by stating that they are the hardest working people on Earth hands down. This is very similar to the honor and chivalry mentality that developed in the South during the years of slavery in the South. The illegal Mexicans respond with the good slave response at work by pretending to be dumb and to have no pride, by always agreeing with the boss no matter what, looking for ways to get extra approval and favors especially in ways that are not work related, and they often surround themselves with their family at work and often treat those workers very badly, break many labor laws with the blessings of there slave owners/managers, when given a position of authority. And for this they are said to be respectful law abiding citizens.
Although they do not behave this way at home and so their children learn from their behavior at home, the children become very proud and believe themselves to be quite intelligent because they easily master both languages, although this does often not result in commercial skills. I must say at this point these children often ARE EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT, but their potential is never known because they live in a culture, the Californian culture, that condones and nurtures their violence so that they can be used for certain vile acts and then jailed when they become adults ! These children copy their parents at home, their drug use behavior, that respectful character of the parents is often rotten at the core. The children often pay the price for expressing their parents true character and are said to be disrespectful but truly they have just learned their behavior from their parents. These elders always say they are so glad to be out of Mexico yet send much of their earnings to family still in Mexico and obviously by their behavior show that they want the USA to be more like Mexico.
Recently when I asked Mexicans in California if they wanted the USA to be like Mexico they just laughed and did not answer, years previous when I asked the same question they would always say no.
I know that the way I have described the Slave Owner/Slave relationship between owners and workers is now very typical between workers and management anywhere in the USA. I believe this is because illegal immigration has had a very bad influence on our society it has permitted everything that we do, just like the ignorant socialist idealism that permeates all of the news media in the USA.
This is NOT the way a free peoples behave — at work or anywhere else!
One year after graduating from college I picked avocados along side mexican laborers, at least as far as I could tell they were mexicans they did speak spanish although I never asked them what their ethnic heritage was and I do not believe that I can tell just by looking or anyone else can for that matter, although odds are they were Mexicans.
I was the fastest picker in the group hands down, and I noticed everyone was keeping track, and the second fastest picker who was my partner in filling bins later often told the local farmers in the area that I was the fastest picker — they took this news as though it was a HUGE INSULT and would not talk about it !
My partner was one of the few Mexicans in the area that acted like a FREE MAN, his hard working ethic was his statement of pride and freedom, unlike those around him he worked hard to show that he was FREE, he did not work short-of hard to show that he was afraid, which is what most of his peers communicated by their behavior.
The reason the old timer/slave owners found his statements about my hard work the height of insults is because these old timers could not ever see themselves working harder then their slaves/illegal immigrant labor but certainly believed themselves to be nearly the hardest working USA generation every, either the hardest workers or the hardest workers since their fathers.
Of course, slave owners would take pride in how hard they get their slaves to work won’t they. Could there exist a business owner who bragged at how lazy his workers were, all the money they got paid, who did whatever they wanted while working, and yet they made tons of money for him and got lots of work done — 24/7. He would be describing true freedom, what Christ wanted for all people. And he would be describing how things could be if we were all overseers of automated systems and robots rather than being Slavers.
I found that I could easily beat the other pickers because I was the biggest worker and my picking buddy the second fastest was also the second biggest guy. Being the biggest meant that all I had to do to stay in front was to fill my picking bag as full as I could get it and then I did less trips to the bins, which consumes most of the time not picking, resulting in me being faster than the rest. Little guys have to make more trips to the bins with a smaller less full picking bags, the trips waste a lot of time not picking. Once I figured this out I would run slowly between to tree and the bins to get an edge, I rested while picking, doing this put my bin count twice as high as most of the other pickers. They all said I must be getting paid piece rate although, I was not, I was paid hourly.
When I was studying in New Zealand for a year during college under a scholarship, I visited a lemon grove of, 30 or 40 acres I believe, where they picked all year long, and had their own packing house on site. The picking was done by 3 workers, one short guy, one medium height, and one very tall almost 7 feet tall. The owner joked about his selection of workers who always worked together and did not need ladders to pick the low pruned trees.
I have been called racist for making remarks similar to what I have said above in public about Mexican immigration.
But I am not racist, I AM FREE ! And I tell other people who are free but choose to live as slaves that they are also truly free !!
People who live as slaves, by choice, will strike out in fear or arrogance and intimidation at those that rattle their cages. Those who point at cages that are illusory and ask those inside to stand up and walk away from their cages as a free people are said to be disrespectful.
And it is interesting that these days those who are caged almost always expect easy money for their entrapment but become disillusioned when they do not find easy money and then often look to illicit trade in drugs as their salvation. They often want to create a legal drug trade and they see it as a new industry that they can get into at the bottom floor. Just look at any liberal near you and you will see this pattern and their illusory cage, some call it The Wall !
These are the Demonarristocrats they were the Party of Slavery, then became southern Demonaristocrats, and still today they preach the easy life of the slave and the slave owner. Watch the most popular movie of all time and it will teach you all about this easy life !
Their beloved chant, “I FEEL YOUR PAIN”, is double speak for, “I am your great and humble slave owner, who once was a slave but now thanks to you, my humble slaves, I am free, join us in our quest for the purity and humility of poverty and self abandonment !!!”
I believe that Mexico will soon bloom, within the next 10 years, into a well educated country and give China a run for its money in manufacturing and probably win easily economically because they have oil. But I don’t think this will fix the immigration problem and Mexico will still have a lot of competition world wide.
I don’t know what will happen to California, it seems to be degenerating to a violent, crime loving society, that can’t pay its bills !!!
I do think that the solution for the USA is quite simple. That we move ahead with artificial intelligence technology and autonomous robot technology to replace generic jobs with generically intelligent robots. And that this will be a huge and emerging business opportunity for small businesses and the elderly who will know the robots the best because they will also be caretakers and many of those elderly will need the new income source.
I believe that this will solve some but not all of the demographic problems that will be hitting the economy hard soon or eventually, it will also save a lot oil since robotic workers don’t need to commute, instead of going home the plug in and recharge — well, that is if they don’t run on Tritium batteries that stay charged for 20 years.
I also believe that Japan is most likely to lead in this technology and will become the worlds economic center if we do not embrace this technology. It will also be key to mining the wealth of space, and creating unlimited wealth for humanity, and that is why the leader in this technology will become the worlds wealthiest nation and financial leader.
I believe we can still change and stay on top but we will have to stop acting like slaves to do this because in the end slaves and slave owners are really just the same sad thing — slaves to ignorance !!!
Yes! Finally, a truly illogical, statistically and economically absurd, as well as
racist argument against abortion! Just the argument I’ve been looking for:
Premise 1: abortion depletes the work force. I.e., we can’t fill those highly
desirable jobs paying all but $2 per hour.
Premise 2: as a result, those others from outside of the “Western Civilization
from North America and Europe” are coming here by the millions to fill the
labor vacuum that abortion created.
Conclusion: abortion is destroying “Western Civilization” itself by destroying
all the healthy, racially pure stock, while substituting in all those impure others
from the South (who, of course, have no historical connection to “Western
Civilization” whatsoever).
Impeccable logic! Well done! But let me take your logic one step farther:
Once we’ve stomped out abortion, then we’ll need some Lebensraum to expand
“Western Civilization.” Naturally, that will require some special camps for all
the unnecessaries who’ve crossed our borders in search of a better life. And, don’t
forget, we’ll need to invade a few countries too.
We’re gettin’ there, slowly but surely. But first things first – do away with abortion
and win back Texas!
” Premise 1: abortion depletes the work force…”
Johnny, you call that a premise?
You mean to tell me that if five million babies ( or fetuses if you insist ) are aborted, there will not be five million less adults 25 years down the line out in the work force?
Then you must also believe that if we cut down five million trees ,and do not plant new trees, 25 years from now, we will not be out five million trees?
Right?
Just checking.
Johnny you can not see a link between abortion and depletion of the work force…
but you see a link between reducing the number of abortions or reducing the number of new immigrants and…
the USA invading other countries?
Do you see pink elephants flying around you right now?
Well,
This is all very interesting.
I’m going to take a nap .
Then eat some jelly bellies.
R.
Gee, Anonymous 256, I guess I should explain to you, without so much sarcasm, why the above article is sheer absurdity.
Without first doing some extremely speculative, complex statistical analysis, one cannot even begin
to say what effect abortion has on the American workforce. Why? Because you’re dealing with something called a
“counterfactual.” You’re saying, “this is what the workforce would be like, if X amount of fetuses
were not aborted.” But the problem with this is: you have no idea what the workforce would be like if those fetuses
had not been aborted. You can’t observe that world; it doesn’t exist! So, how can possibly begin to measure the differences
between this world and the hypothetical world with all the non-aborted human beings? You really can’t. You
can only guess. And your guess often reflects more about you, than it reflects anything about the real world. Hence,
I was taken aback by the author’s not-so-latent xenophobia – I learned, unfortunately, more about him than
about abortion’s relation to immigration. And that’s why I decided to take his argument to a logical extreme.
Let me make my point more vividly: I could come up with a theory that says exactly the opposite as what the
author argued above. And it’d be just as impossible to prove or disprove as the author’s theory.
For instance, I theorize that if fetuses were not aborted, then we’d have rabid unemployment and overpopulation.
We’d use tons more resources and have more environmental problems. Disease, crime, and poverty would be more rampant.
We’d also have more problems with immigrants (and race) because of the scarcity of jobs, including jobs that pay $2 per hour.
Things would be just terrible. (In fact, some people do argue this – and it’s just as disturbing as the author’s
above argument)
So here’s the question of the day:
Can you, Anonymous 256, or anyone else on this site, refute this theory, anymore than you can prove
the author’s theory? If you think you can, then you should really win the Nobel Prize in economics for solving
the problem that plagues all economists, statiticians, and philosophers since time immemorial – i.e. how to reason
in the face of the impossible.
But until you can prove to humanity that you have the god-like skills to see into parallel universes to compare and contrast them
with this world, I see no reason to accept such an absurdly simplistic notion that for every fetus aborted,
an undocumented immigrant fills an American job.
So yes, if you abort 5 million fetuses, that means 5 million fewer potential workers. But what about birth control?
If people use birth control, that also means fewer potential laborers. What about children who die young? Fewer
workers, right? What of environmental degradation? Outsourcing? Wars? Bad weather? Depleting resources?
Bankrupting businesses? Bad economic policy? Poverty? Freak accidents? Bad individual decisions? Etc.
All these things have the potential to cause there to be fewer workers, do they not? You might as well just say, “dying
causes there to be fewer workers.” And even with this proposition, you’re not even close to proving that immigration levels are a
function of how many dead laborers there are in this country.
…In fact, I think I am seeing pink elephants flying around me. It all began when I started reading articles on this site!
I don’t know if there will be a war, famine, poverty or happy times and prosperity for everyone 25 years from now, I don’t know, you don’t know, and nobody knows.
But every body knows that if 5 million children die today of an epidemic of influenza or from a terror attack involving a nuclear bomb, there will be 5 million less adults around 25 years from now.
We don’t know how many of them would have eventually been killed in accidents or how many would have become Doctors or how many of them would have ended up on social assistance/welfare or how many would have moved to Europe if they had not died,
but we know that if they are not there, they can not become or do any of that.
And we don’t know who would have eventually replaced them, but we know it can only be either people from this country or Immigrants from another country.
But on the other hand, to suppose that their greiving mothers would have had one or two more babies to replace those who died in the epidemic or the attack is highly hypothetical…and very unlikely.
And if their mothers are not having at least two – point – something babies, then that particular group/race/people
is slowly moving towards extinction, or at least , definitely moving towards becoming a minority.
That is not hypothetical, it is mathematical.
It has nothing to do with predicting the future.
I’ll admit though that abortion is not the only factor in play, use of contraceptives is probably as important, but abortion is no doubt one of the biggest factors – anything happening in such high numbers has to be taken into account.
And sorry about the sarcasm, I was trying to be funny…with a touch of sarcasm…
Uhh….As such I am fed up with the MOM’s in malls with not just 1 but 2 babies mostly with 2 carts blocking the entire pathway, and the food court is one big mess.
I dont know how they will acomodate with eliminating abortion.
Also the article is such lame in explaining what it intended.
Moms blocking an aisle with two kids and two carts beeing an annoyance is how you intend to convinve us abortion is justified?!
And you think the article is lame at explaining what it intended?
Wow…
I really don’t see the connection. People do what they do because they can and it works for them at the time. I don’t think the young woman who just wants to have fun is thinking about the consequences of her decision to not increase our population from 285, 567, 783 to 285,567,784. Perhaps you are overlooking the main motivation of the illegal workers. They gladly toil for 16 hours a day for less than minimum wages because besides a meager existance for themselves here they can and do support an entire extended family in their birth country. The 12 million “legal” americans “murdered” would not work for those wages because they could not support even a one child family at a reasonable USA standard of living. That’s why welfare is here to stay untill income and wealth disparities are significantly reduced. So, it’s a Catch-22 untill worldwide wages equalize.
GOD will punish us for killing innocent babies,we will be destroyed and conquered by a foreign speaking people.just look aat all immigrants, they pop out babies as soon as they get here.
thank womens lib!!!!!
eve destroyed paradise now our eves will destoy america
Mike, you cannot be serious… the religious right is just as much a problem as illegal immigration
and abortion. Abortion is a travesty, and nothing more than legalized murder. I once saw a video
of an abortion being performed and the used an ultrasound to see the baby’s reaction. It was
disgusting. The fetus was actually shaking and trying to avoid the needle… and as far as religion is
concerned, I will quote John Adams: “This would be the best of all possible worlds, if there were no
religion in it”
