Lies Exposed by Photos and Videos

The photographic and video evidence reveals that partial birth abortion is a surgical act of infanticide.

Supporters of the abortion movement have deceived mankind with bumfuzzling statements that Partial Birth Abortion is a rare occurrence, being performed "less than 500 times a year on only fetuses that are severely deformed." [i] However, as early as November 1995, Ron Fitzsimmons, then executive director of the National Coalition of Abortion Providers, admitted on ABC's Nightline that he lied when he asserted the procedure was used rarely and only on fetuses and women whose lives were in danger. At that time, Fitzsimmons estimated 5,000 Partial Birth Abortions were performed annually and "primarily done on healthy women of healthy fetuses." [ii]

Since that time, it has been reasoned by William F. Buckley [iii] that Partial Birth Abortion is performed approximately 130,000 times a year in the United States. Los Angeles abortionist Dr. James McMahon admitted in 1995 to performing over 2,000 partial birth abortions himself at that time. Cincinnati abortionist Dr. Martin Haskell admitted in 1992 of having 'routinely' and ‘easily' performed over 1,000 partial-birth abortions himself, and that 80% of them are for purely elective (whimsical) reasons, such a depression or vomiting of the mother. [iv]

If those groups promoting abortion assert the Partial Birth Abortion is so rare, then why do pro-abortion groups and Federal Judges bother to oppose the Federal Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003? The reason is clearly that Partial Birth Abortion is not rare but performed countless times on healthy babies and healthy mothers. [v]

In 2003, 345 U.S. Congressional members successfully worked toward banning the gruesome Partial Birth Abortion so that President Bush was able to sign into law ‘The Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003' (herein referred to as the ‘Ban Act') on November 5. Short and simple in wordage, the Act simply bans any abortion in which "the person performing the abortion partially vaginally delivers a living fetus before killing the infant and completing the delivery."

The Ban Act met almost immediate Federal Judicial resistance in Manhattan, San Francisco, and Lincoln, Nebraska. Federal Judges in these three cities ruled the Ban Act unconstitutional after pro-abortion groups presented lawsuits opposing the Ban Act. The pro-abortion groups deceptively referred to the Partial Birth infanticide as a "simple, commonplace, ordinary intact dilation and extraction procedure or D&E."

On January 31, 2006, two Federal Appellate Courts again ruled the Ban Act was unconstitutional. [vi] The Courts were the 9th Circuit Court in San Francisco and the 2nd Circuit Court in Manhattan. All three of these decisions (Manhattan, San Francisco and Lincoln) will likely be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court. The majority of these Federal Judges believed this surgical act of infanticide "provides safety advantages for some women." What about the disadvantages to the live, decapitated, crushed infant? All abortions are equally murderous acts and all of them must be opposed. How fashionable is their deception that casts doubt on reason's ability to know the truth. The truth is hundreds of doctors have testified there is virtually no condition that threatens the life of the mother to abort her child. [vii]

Let us see who it is who is deceiving mankind about this surgical act of infanticide. For clear evidence to this answer, you may choose to view a photo at the website provided here. You will see three artist renderings and one color photo that depicts the surgical act of infanticide. Be sure to note the baby's head on the bottom right. This photo has everything to do with deception of the two January 31, 2006 Federal Court rulings.

This photo does not deceive mankind.

We should, with all one's heart, email this documentation to colleagues, family, and friends, providing clear, undeniable proof that abortion holds no advantages for the infant. Moreover, let us not bother to include any mawkish warning that the email contains "graphic information that may be disturbing to some," because the reality is that our complicit society views worse images on television, billboards, in magazines and contemporary movies every single day. In fact, Americans lost their claim to possessing "purity or innocence of heart" on January 22, 1973, with the Supreme Court decision of Roe v. Wade. Furthermore, if anyone criticizes these graphic depictions, we, with full conviction, should reply that their protestation is unacceptable, being moral relativism at its very worst.

This month the civilized world is watching horrified yet another innocent political hostage being held captive by Islamofanatics and threatened with decapitation. Several years ago, certain world news agencies released a gruesome video and audiotape showing the terrorist barbarians beheading an American telecommunications businessman working in Iraq. We heard not only this man's terrifying screams and guttural drowning in his own blood, but we also heard global outrage against such animalistic atrocities performed by the terrorist butchers. Men cutting off other men's heads! The FCC allowed the decapitation film to be shown on U.S. television and it is readily available for viewing all over the Internet. Thank God, these decapitations of hostages are not very common.

Now let us compare the world's outrage to this tragic hostage beheading with the very frequent beheading procedure [viii] of the Partial Birth Abortion performed on viable,[ix] live babies in the womb age 5 ½ months up to the day of birth in the 9th month. This late term abortion, seen in artistic renderings here, most times results in a gruesome live decapitation for the wailing, flailing, kicking infant who is trying desperately to defend its own life against the butcher puncturing its skull with Metzenbaum seven inch surgical scissors.[x] That is the reason it is referred to as "Partial Birth Abortion," because the baby is delivered live before the head is taken off. In addition, according to the Federal Born Alive Infant Act, a fetus legally becomes a child, a baby, an infant, when it is delivered, whether for long term healthy life or for decapitation by a butcher doctor.

Where is the world's horrified reaction to the l.5 million live abortions a year in the U.S. alone? Who could imagine such ghoulish procedures performed by licensed doctors at the mother's request — a heinous crime against humanity that she willingly pays for. Could not a prosecuting attorney make a case of "murder for hire" — the woman pays the doctor, the doctor kills the baby?

We must remember that medical science has proved that babies in the womb as early as eight to ten weeks old feel pain.[xi] In fact, there is a video available that shows this fetal pain. In l984, Dr. Bernard N. Nathanson, a former abortionist, revealed through ultra sound the responses of a 12-week-old baby girl abortion while in the womb in his documentary video The Silent Scream. It is an unforgettable film segment of torture inflicted on the tiny girl, her mouth forming several "silent screams," trying her instinctive best to preserve her life and escape the abortionist's suction and curettage. Her heart rate doubles in her desperate struggle. While she is seen trying to evade the scraping knife, her limbs are dismembered, one by one, and she bleeds to death in the womb. This was not a Partial Birth Abortion, but just a "commonplace" "ordinary" abortion that happens every 17 seconds somewhere in the U.S.

The late President Ronald Reagan gifted every member of the U.S. Congress with this video. In a surprising move, PBS television broadcast the video on its Frontline program. But very few people chose to see The Silent Scream lest their consciences be pricked.

Former abortionist Dr. Nathanson next released another video, Eclipse of Reason, documenting the abortion of a five-month-old baby boy as seen through a fetoscope — a camera placed inside the pregnant uterus. Riveting images of a late abortion are then shown with a camera both inside and outside the uterus. Academy Award winner Charlton Heston introduces the documentary.

Another film, surprisingly made in Hollywood, exposes the truths of abortion, particularly Partial Birth infanticide. A Distant Thunder is a 35-minute docudrama portraying an intense courtroom scene where a nurse assisting at an abortion testifies how the procedure takes place and the ensuing psychological trauma that results within someone who has had an abortion.

We must unambiguously speak for the "recorded" 50 million U.S. infants murdered by abortion since 1973 (how many abortion go unreported in this clandestine industry?). And, how better to convince a culture gone insane than to reveal to our fellow men and women the truth about humanity with photos and videos that do not deceive mankind.

If you have not seen the video, The Silent Screen, why not choose to do so now?

  1. Thank you for this extremely well-written and deeply compelling discussion about the depravity of abortion. Your article should be required reading in every high school "health" class. People need to be educated about the reality of abortion before they can think rationally about it. Indeed, the "pro choice" forces in this country (including the mainstream media and Hollywood) are adamantly opposed to educating the general public on this issue — because they know that with such education would come a complete collapse of support in this country for abortion on demand.

  2. A friend found out at 5mos gestation her baby girl had a rare disease and would die after birth. She courageously endured the rest of the pregnancy and the baby died in her arms a week after birth. She has a week of bittersweet memory of her tiny child, and a lifetime of no regret. You would not believe the people who thought her selfish for carrying her to term. That little child's short life has had a giant impact on her family and all those acquainted. She was no less significant a human than anyone else. It is the hardening of the heart against the weak and disabled that leads to inhumane abortion.

  3. Education on abortion would end abortion. The left is in the business of determining when life begins and increasingly when it should be ended, a scary scenerio. Only debate without facts would allow the left to win this issue. The thought of an actual debate with testimony by doctors, sciencetist, and even abortion doctors describing when life begins with today's technology is terrifying to the pro-abortion groups of America. Only through ignorance and arrogance can the pro- abortion crowd prevail. This is the primary reason the left loves the term "settled law" because a renewed debate with the new media would bring out the facts in the abortion issue, which is one thing liberals have a tough time facing. Abortion advocates would have to say " I believe in the termination of life out of convenience for the mother." This is what abortion is.

Statement of Brenda Pratt Shafer, R.N.
Before the Subcommittee on the Constitution
    Committee on the Judiciary
    U.S. House of Representatives
Hearing on The Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act (HR 1833)
    March 21, 1996

Mr. Chairman and honorable members of the Judiciary Committee, I am Brenda Pratt Shafer. I am here before you, at the request of the Committee, to relate to you my experience as an eyewitness to what is now known as the partial-birth abortion procedure.
I am a registered nurse, licensed in the State of Ohio, with 14 years of experience. In 1993, I was employed by Kimberly Quality Care, a nursing agency in Dayton, Ohio. In September, 1993, Kimberly Quality Care asked me to accept assignment at the Women's Medical Center, which is operated by Dr. Martin Haskell. I readily accepted the assignment because I was at that time very pro-choice. I had even told my teenage daughters that if one of them ever got pregnant at a young age, I would make them get an abortion. They disagreed with me on this, and one of them even wrote an essay for a high school class that mentioned how we differed on the issue.
So, because of the strong pro-choice views that I held at that time, I thought this assignment would be no problem for me.
But I was wrong. I stood at a doctor's side as he performed the partial-birth abortion procedure– and what I saw is branded forever on my mind.
I worked as an assistant nurse at Dr. Haskell's clinic for three days– September 28, 29, and 30, 1993.
On the first day, we assisted in some first-trimester abortions, which is all I'd expected to be involved in. (I remember that one of the patients was a 15-year-old-girl who was having her third abortion.)
On the second day, I saw Dr. Haskell do a second-trimester procedure that is called a D & E (dilation and evacuation). He used ultrasound to examine the fetus. Then he used forceps to pull apart the baby inside the uterus, bringing it out piece by piece and piece, throwing the pieces in a pan.
Also on the first two days, we inserted laminaria to dilate the cervixes of women who were being prepared for the partial-birth abortions– those who were past the 20 weeks point, or 4 1\2 months. (Dr. Haskell called this procedure "D & X", for dilation and extraction.) There were six or seven of these women.
On the third day, Dr. Haskell asked me to observe as he performed several of the procedures that are the subject of this hearing. Although I was in that clinic on assignment of the agency, Dr. Haskell was interested in hiring me full time, and I was being given orientation in the entire range of procedures provided at that facility.
I was present for three of these partial-birth procedures. It is the first one that I will describe to you in detail.
The mother was six months pregnant (26 1/2 weeks). A doctor told her that the baby had Down Syndrome and she decided to have an abortion. She came in the first two days to have the laminaria inserted and changed, and she cried the whole time. On the third day she came in to receive the partial-birth procedure.
Dr. Haskell brought the ultrasound in and hooked it up so that he could see the baby. On the ultrasound screen, I could see the heart beating. As Dr. Haskell watched the baby on the ultrasound screen, the baby's heartbeat was clearly visible on the ultrasound screen.
Dr. Haskell went in with forceps and grabbed the baby's legs and pulled them down into the birth canal. Then he delivered the baby's body and the arms– everything but the head. The doctor kept the baby's head just inside the uterus.
The baby's little fingers were clasping and unclasping, and his feet were kicking. Then the doctor stuck the scissors through the back of his head, and the baby's arms jerked out in a flinch, a startle reaction, like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall.
The doctor opened up the scissors, stuck a high-powered suction tube into the opening and sucked the baby's brains out. Now the baby was completely limp. I was really completely unprepared for what I was seeing. I almost threw up as I watched the doctor do these things.
Mr. Chairman, I read in the paper that President Clinton says that he is going to veto this bill. If President Clinton had been standing where I was standing at that moment, he would not veto this bill.
Dr. Haskell delivered the baby's head. He cut the umbilical cord and delivered the placenta. He threw that baby in a pan, along with the placenta and the instruments he'd used. I saw the baby move in the pan. I asked another nurse and she said it was just "reflexes."
I have been a nurse for a long time and I have seen a lot of death– people maimed in auto accidents, gunshot wounds, you name it. I have seen surgical procedures of every sort. But in all my professional years, I had never witnessed anything like this.
The woman wanted to see her baby, so they cleaned up the baby and put it in a blanket and handed the baby to her. She cried the whole time, and she kept saying, "I'm so sorry, please forgive me!" I was crying too. I couldn't take it. That baby boy had the most perfect angelic face I have ever seen. [He supposedly had Down Syndrome, remember?]
I was present in the room during two more such procedures that day, but I was really in shock. I tried to pretend that I was somewhere else, to not think about what was happening. I just couldn't wait to get out of there. After I left that day, I never went back. These last two procedures, by the way, involved healthy mothers with healthy babies.
I was very much affected by what I had seen. For a long time, sometimes still, I had nightmares about what I saw in that clinic that day.
Mr. Chairman, these people who say I didn't see what I saw– I wish they were right. I wish I hadn't seen it. But I did see it, and I will never be able to forget it. That baby boy was only inches, seconds away from being entirely born, when he was killed. What I saw done to that little boy, and to those other babies, should not be allowed in this country.
    Thank you.

  6. Very good article,I find it very interesting that the liberal media is constantly whining that the public has a right to know, such as the Mr Chaney accidental shooting. That same mantra does not seem to apply when it comes to abortion,in fact they do everything they can to prevent the truth from being shown. Thank You - Bill Nelson

  8. How dare you impersonate the identity of Ibrahim Waziri Mohammed and use the death of the respectable Alhaji Waziri to your own benefits? Have you not respect and mercy for his children and wife? Stop impersonating Ibrahim cause I know that Alhaji Waziri, his wife (the mother of his children) and his children are respectable and smart enough not to advertise themselves on a cheap website.

Leave these respectable people alone you SCAMMER and stop trying to fool other people!
