Freedom should never be taken as an excuse to exploit the sensitivity of others, especially in matters of faith.

For decades the Arab press has used the cartoon to debase and dehumanize Jews and the State of Israel. Blind men groping an elephant from different sides, trying to decide what it resembles, have fragmentary impressions. Liberals groping today’s events from the left side are either blind, or willfully deceitful, because they present one-sided and misleading interpretations. George W. Bush must explain to the American people that Dubai Ports World has no role in providing security for the ports. |
