Hispanic Leaders Speak Out – Read What They Are Saying

Hispanic activists in their own words.

The California Coalition for Immigration Reform has compiled some interesting quotes from the open-borders crowd.  See if you find these statements consistent with the image of the "hard working honest 'undocumented citizens' coming to the US to escape poverty and make a living" that their PR machine would have us believe.

Go back to Boston!  Go back to Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims!  Get out!  We are the future.  You are old and tired.  Go on.  We have beaten you.  Leave like beaten rats.  You old white people.  It is your duty to die… Through love of having children, we are going to take over.
– Augustin Cebada, Brown Berets

They're afraid we're going to take over the governmental institutions and other institutions.  They're right.  We will take them over . . . We are here to stay.
– Richard Alatorre, Los Angeles City Council

The American Southwest seems to be slowly returning to the jurisdiction of Mexico without firing a single shot.
– Excelsior, the national newspaper of Mexico

We have an aging white America.  They are not making babies.  They are dying.  The explosion
is in our population.  I love it.  They are sh**ing in their pants with fear.   I love it.
– Professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, University of Texas

Remember 187 — proposition to deny taxpayer funds for services to non-citizens — was the last gasp of white America in California.
– Art Torres, Chairman of the California Democratic Party

We are politicizing every single one of these new citizens that are becoming citizens of this country.  I gotta tell you that a lot of people are saying I'm going to go out there and vote because I want to pay them back.
– Gloria Molina, Los Angeles County Supervisor

California is going to be a Hispanic state.  Anyone who doesn't like it should leave.
– Mario Obledo, California Coalition of Hispanic Organizations (and California State Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare under former CA Governor Jerry Brown.  Also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Bill Clinton)

We are practicing 'La Reconquista' in California.
– Jose Pescador Osuna, Mexican Consul General

We need to avoid a white backlash by using codes understood by Latinos…
– Professor Fernando Guerra, Loyola Marymount University

Are these just the words of a few extremists?  No, unfortunately these are "mainstream" political and media and educational leaders.  This is not the rhetoric of refugees from poverty.  This is the voice of culture war.

Our porous borders present a threat to the security, the economy and now to the very fabric and nature of our sovereign nation.

Not only does an insecure border present the open door to the plotters of nefarious terrorist actions, it is the avenue of a real movement to "re-conquer" the American southwest as "Aztlan;" a de facto Hispanic province of Mexico.

It is the pipeline through which Mexico exports its poverty and crime problems.  It also produces the "giant sucking sound" of our economy being drained as our dollars are exported.  Our illegal immigrant population is the channel through which Mexico obtains its 2nd largest source of revenue after oil.

Whatever else politicians do about the illegal immigration issue – securing the borders and stopping the flow MUST be the first step.

The Baby Boomers generation is going to retire soon. The economy needs more workers. That´s why America needs inmigrants. But, which kind of inmigrants? Here is the real discussion. Are there any young people en Latin American who agree with the Founding Fathers values? Of course yes! And they want to study, to work, to save money and to live in a free country like the USA. Don´t let them down! Don´t let America down. Choose the right inmigrant policy!

Are there any Latin Americans among us today who even know what the founding fathers’ values are? Some.
However, even if they did, it wouldn’t matter much because they will follow along with whatever their leaders tell them to (see quotes in the article). Those leaders know how to fire up their people. Look at the quotes above. Those are the kinds of things that will get their people (and I mean “their people”, not “our people”) to get out and vote…vote the way they want them to.

Most everyone wants to live in a free country, but that doesn’t give anyone the right to just waltz in and demand benefits and citizenship. If we allow that, we will no longer be a country. We’ll be what some of those people want, Northern Mexico.
Yes, we need workers, but that doesn’t mean just throwing open the borders. That’s national suicide. What we need is to control our borders. Let people in that we decide should come in. Every country has that right.

Countries get to decide who comes in and who doesn’t, not people that break the law to come here.

America is the land OF the free, not the land FOR free.

Countries get to decide who comes in and who doesn’t, not people that break the law to come here. I agree with that idea. But, I am trying to say that it is extremely difficult to control the long borders between America and Mexico and to expulse the 11 million illegal people. Government has not enough money to do that and we, the conservatives and libertarians, want a Small Government with low taxes.

My grandparents came to America, learned english and had children that were Americans.  they all fought in WWII, my dad received the Bronze Star for action during the war.     My parents would not speak Italian in front of their children so we would not have ANY accent.  They wanted us to be full contributing Americans.     There was never any thoughts of turning America into a New Italy.  This is sinful that the Mexicans are trying to take over SW America and it is more sinful that the politicians are not acting against this.     No Amnisty, no concessions, just enforcement of the existing laws.     We can slowly and incrimentally reverse what has taken 20 years to grow to this.  Stop it now, and reverse the process and accept whatever comes of it.    Don't give  up because it might cost money.  The cost and harm to our schools, hospitals and jails is coming out of the Taxpayers pockets.        No free hospital bill or free education can be had by an illegal alien without the money first being stolen from the taxpayers.         12 million illegal aliens is the best reason for a national sales tax.  8% of the labor force in America is off the books.  They come from the 12 million illegals, so have walmart collect the taxes.        Do the right thing, no matter what.        No voting rights ever for these 12 million illegals, and english only in america please.  Thanks Lou g

I do not believe controlling our border would be "extremely difficult".  It could be done relatively easily with a military supported border.  The next step is going after businesses which hire illegals.  Doing these two things takes care of 90 percent of the problem.  Only fools can believe the United States can free 27 million people with heavy resistance in one hand (Iraq), but do not believe we can escort 11 million out of the country during this invasion of the United States.

  • Someone is doing something about it, The Minutemen. They are the heros of this country. Not the impotent and incompetent politicians. We, the people of this country. And it is we, the citizens, who will fix the mess that has been left us.The mess we have to pay for!!!

We don’t have to gather up and deport non-criminal illegals. Just charge employers of illegals $10,000 (or some other frightening amount) per illegal per day. Most illegal employees can be discovered simply when their social security numbers are returned by the government marked no match. We can also order employees to give extra screening to employees with a foreign accent. Also, deny all education, government benefits and non-emergency health care to illegals–those people with foreign accents who don’t present immigration papers. When we passed Proposition 187 in California, some Mexicans returned to Mexico–they felt there was an “unfriendly environment” in California(!). We also deport so-called “citizen babies” since the Constitution says those born in the U.S. under the jurisdiction of the U.S. are citizens. After we build a wall along the border, we can forcibly deport all criminal and gang-banging illegals–deporting those from Mexico to their southern border. If we don’t do this we might have a civil war here along the border.
