I agree with the above comments. Can we PLEASE stop playing the silly Republican/Democrat game. Folks who sell their mind and soul to a political party are fools. We're being killed by both parties, largely because we don't demand better representation. If the best the Republican Party can offer is leaders like George W. Bush, Dennis Hastert and Bill Frist, then I have to conclude that the Republican Party doesn't represent me. It's time to clean house. Throw the bums out!

You appear to be clouding the issue with the facts.
Seriously, thanks for setting the record straight.

Seriously, Mr. Clark, are you kidding me? The democrats have been out of power for OVER HALF A DECADE now. Who was standing up on Capitol Hill the other day talking about looking into "price gouging" and "windfall taxes on oil companies". It was Hastert and Frist - the GOP leadership! It was the GOP leadership scrambling desperately to pander for votes by issuing $100 rebate checks for the high price of gasoline. The bottom line is this: the GOP has had control now for 5 years. To continue to blame an increasingly irrelevant and morally bankrupt Democratic party for the recent batch of insanity pulled by our GOP leaders is not only dishonest, but irrational. That's like saying Kennedy wants amnesty for illegals while not mentioning that Bush himself is for it, and stands side-by-side with Kennedy on the illegal immigration issue.
