On the eve of the fifth anniversary of 9/11, Harvard's Kennedy School of Government showcases Mohammed Khatami, former president of Iran. Khatami gets the royal treatment although the U.S. State Department places Iran on the A-List as a state sponsor of terrorism. Another triumph for enemy propagandists.
This week marks the fifth anniversary of the September 11th terrorist strikes on our nation. How best to honor the memories of the nearly 3000 fallen from those vicious attacks? Let's start with the lunacy emerging from distinguished Harvard University. The oldest institution of higher learning in the United States has stepped forward with a novel plan:
Harvard's Kennedy School of Government decided the appropriate tribute would be to invite former Iranian President Mohammed Khatami to speak on the eve of the commemoration. Our nation is at war. Would venerated national institutions have invited General Tojo or Emperor Hirohito for a Pearl Harbor memorial?
Mohammed Khatami is the same man who recently described Hizballah, which tops the US State Department's list of terrorist organizations, as "a shining sun that illuminates and warms the hearts of all Muslims and supporters of freedom in the world." Armed by Iran, Hizballah (Arabic for "Party of God"), currently holds 10 percent of the seats in Lebanon's parliament.
No voice of moderation, Khatami has explicitly endorsed current Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's call for the annihilation of Israel. There is no ambiguity in his exhortations to the faithful to engage in worldwide efforts to bring about the collapse of western civilization.
What does it take to jolt the current politically correct crowd of liberals to their senses? This is not a tea-party with gingered crumpets. We are dealing with violent jihadists whose expressed desire is the overthrow of democratic governments. These are extremists, whose ultimate goal is global imposition of radical Islamic fundamentalism. They have vowed to reconquer prior Islamic lands and ultimately dominate the rest.
Massachusetts Governor, Mitt Romney, who received his MBA and his Juris Doctorate from Harvard, has taken a resolute stand against this outrageous action at his alma mater. Declaring he will not use taxpayer dollars for escort and security services for Khatami, he criticized Harvard for inviting this militant to speak on the anniversary of the most infamous blow to our nation. Terming Harvard's invitation, "appalling," Romney stated, "We need to be reminded of the nature of our enemy. We have not developed an understanding of radical Islam. We can‘t be fooled again."
For their part, Harvard's Kennedy School of Government issued a statement saying it was, "surprised and disappointed" by Romney's stance.
Khatami, in the United States on a whirlwind tour, has attended the Islamic Society of North America convention in a Chicago suburb. Also on his agenda, the United Nations "Dialogue of Civilizations" conference. Providing him further legitimacy, he is scheduled to speak at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C., Columbia University, Georgetown University, and the University of Virginia. From there, who better to meet with than former US President Jimmy Carter, who openly gives aid and comfort to our enemies?
The elections are upon us. National pundits have declared the war-weary American people are ready for a congressional overhaul. There is appropriateness in the Biblical quote from Matthew: "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."

What Americans haven't digested yet is the fact that the barbaric side of Islam is run by fanatics who live in a different world from us … an uncivilized "civilization" driven by cult leaders who have absolute life-or-death control over their followers.
Calling them "Islamofascists" is a misnomer which implies a level of civilization which is centuries beyond where they are. In reality, they should be called "Islamobarbarians", to indicate that they belong in the realm of the Visigoths and Atilla the Hun. Their very laws dictate unbeliveable punishments. Do you remember the four judges who ruled that they could rape the totally innocent sister of a miscreant as punishment for HIS crime. Or, how could a father kill his own daughter because her rape brought "shame" on his house?
The crowning clue to this cult's barbarian culture is the training of their children to believe that ALL outsiders are evil Infidels, whose only hope in life is to convert to Islam or be killed … and the childrens' job is to volunteer as suicide bombers to kill Infidels.
I actually saw a news clip which showed a mother PROUDLY announcing that her daughter was the one who had bombed an Israeli coffee shop, killing a dozen totally innocent civilians. I wonder if she secretly cried her eyes out in the dead of night! Or, is the cult so strong that she could actually surpress her instinctive motherly love for her own child?
These barbarians scare me to death … I hope the rest of the country wakes up and gets scared, too.

I actually think the Jihadists are sufficiently similar to fascists to merit the name. I agree that they do not see themselves as fascists but that is only more reason to call them precisely what they are. The similarities to European fascism of the 30's and 40's is stunning, from cultish adherence to their leaders to compulsive anti-Semitism. The only difference is they pretend to be following the religion of Islam, which seems to have a perversity of its own that allows so readily for this, which is why the Pope has recently found himself boiling in their hot water of self delusion. He actually suggested just that, and most oddly he said it on the eve of the death of an atheist Catholic who admired him and had said precisely the same thing: 77 year old Oriana Fallaci, Italian author of "The Force of Reason" for which she was to be tried on charges of what amounts to BLASPHEMY in…. Italy.
