Poor Margaret Sanger, I'm sure that not only walk straight into this demographically disastrous haymaker, but never saw it coming in the first place. I have no doubt that people do things with the best of intentions to themselves, and in this case she was self interested. Had she known what the results of her consequences of her actions were I'm sure she might have been one of the loudest pro-life voices going around. But hindsight I guess is a wonderful thing.

I agree with your solution. Ban Abortions! Very simple, very effective. Unfortunately left wingers want solutions on demand like they want their abortions. Balance hasnt rectified itself tomorrow? The banning of abortions clearly isnt working. But thats the mind of a leftie for you.

Hello Stutzenbach,
Thank you for your input. I do see all those things, and I do understand that the author saw himself as making a slightly different point. Best,

I believe felix is missing the point of the article. Feminists like Sanger championed abortion as a way of improving the genetic mix. She likely did not anticipate that abortion would later be used as a tool to exterminate a portion of the female population, resulting in a gender inbalance in certain societies.

It is my understanding that ultrasound technology was developed for reasons apart from or in addition to the promotion of abortion. Felix, please correct me if I am wrong.

The author of this very causative understanding of history describes ultrasound equipment, and its negative manifestations as the logical technological consequence of Adolf Hitler, and Margaret Sanger. How about Ian Donald, W. N. Beck, James Willocks, Stuart Campbell and at least 5 other men? Why were these points of development left out?
