Many on the Right seem more interested in punishing desperate people who have fled here looking for work than in fixing the system. Our short-term energy policy very much requires the use of our own oil resources that can be easily extracted now. A total ban on handguns would do Canada a grave disservice and would do very little to prevent handgun violence.
