We really need to pay attention to this threatening phenomenon. If John Edwards continues to take care of his appearance, he may dethrone Ralph Reed, and we wouldn’t want that would we.

Alright, alright. I appreciate Ann Coulter’s wit and humor, but I disagree with the criticism of “men obsessing over their grooming and appearance.” I think it’s about time men cared about their appearances as much as women are required to; there’s nothing more repulsive than a big fat hairy slob. However, paying $450 for a haircut is ridiculous. If Edwards is bringing some respect to the “metrosexual,” then there’s something to be said for that. But you can be a great looking “metrosexual” who shops at Ross and TJ Maxx.

John Edwards should just open a hair salon and fade away.

To be fair, Ann Coulter never “called” John Edwards a faggot. At least not in the sense that the word “called” implies. She did not say “John Edwards is a faggot”. She said she couldn’t comment about his election campaign “because you have to go to rehab if you use the word ‘faggot’”, a reference to the then-current situation in which actor Isaiah Washington entered anger management classes after using the word “faggot” during a fight with a fellow straight man on the set of the TV show “Grey’s Anatomy”. A gay cast member was offended and subsequently came out of the closet over the “incident”. It was really quite amusing in context. Heck, even out of context…
