you make excellent points as usual, but what did everyone think was going to happen in the GOP race, when there has never been any 100% true conservative in the race? why didnt everyone complain ayear ago, and recruit a candidate they wanted? Its too late to complain now, since none of them are what we want. maybe there was no one else at the time , or even now, so we have to pick the candidate with the best chance to win. when No candidate is acceptable on all positions, voters usually pick who they like, who they trust, and admire.

the election next fall will not be decided by just conservatives, who obviously have lost numbers in the past 4 years,( or have not been motivated as they were with GWB.) personally I want the GOP to win in November. and i don't care who wins it,I'll support anyone who is on the ticket. if we don't like them we have four years to find a better candidate, just like we have had four years to find one this time and no one stepped up. So we are stuck with the choices we have, we better start living with it, or learn to live with Clinton or Obama
