Deciding whether or not to support McCain is a deeply difficult decision for conservatives to make, reflected in their division down the middle over whether to support the Republican Party this election or not. At some point, conservatives have to take a gamble and try and predict the future – will they regret their decision [...] If voters overwhelmingly oppose gun control, would the news media report it? Both Senator Clinton and Senator Obama have made “poverty” a central theme of their campaigns, promising to lift up the poor and put a chicken in every pot, a large screen TV on every wall, and a new car in every driveway. |
