Muslim morality is demonstrably a good deal worse than our own. A great deal of Muslim liturature, including the One-Thousand and One [Arabian] Nights', directly contradicts fundamentalist assertions of morality and propriety, and many such works are positively debauched. The worldview promoted by Islam still regards women as whores and condones marital infidelity, the attack and rape of unescorted women, wives discarded, ex-wives cheated of doweries, child-marriages, women forced to marry assailants, gang-rape of women for supposed crimes, 'honor-killings', pederasty and sodomy exceptions (apparently not sodomy unless the receiving-male enjoys it), racial-bigotry, religious/political murder and persecution, buying/selling women and children, slavery, almost non-existent widow-rights, institutionalized wife battering, conditional-lying (to infidels), castration and labial-mutilation, &c. Despite all the hype regarding the Muslim distain of immoral pleasures, Muslims gamble, joke, cheat, get drunk and indulge drugs no less than some westerners (they just keep it hidden and pretend a superior morality) and take guilty pleasure in all that is forbidden. Muslim men are encouraged by their religion to lust after flesh, even though proscribing against particular aspects of it. What else are harems, polygamy, or the Koranic reward for martyrdom (72 of the most beautiful lusty virgins imaginable) if not utterly salacious incitement? No, I don't think we need make any apologies to Muslims for having 'corrupted' their culture. When you have the fox watching the henhouse you get the current mortgage meltdown, food contanimation and dangerous drugs. There are plenty of corporations that operate fine without unions, compensate and treat their employees fairly and don't over rate the top tier as the more important and needful of more money.
