An issue I've discovered from first-hand experience is the matter of non-citizens working in our government; the State of Texas is a case in point. Hundreds are working there, many in policy positions, with visas having no relation to the expertise required. Why is this happening?

Conventiently, there is NO central database which tells us the number and type of positions taken by non-citizens either at the state or national level. Technically, it is legal for non-citzens to work in the U.S., but shouldn't there be a restriction when it comes to management and policy positions?

Will someone please get the word out that non-citizens are "representing" U.S. citizens in our government?

Sorry, Mr Kouri, but continued self-serving Republican claims about so-called voter fraud are dubious at best and have been thoroughly debunked:

http://truthaboutfraud.org/

However, the real point I would like to make is that the cures to voter fraud most often suggested by Republicans, namely photo ID requirements and the purging of voter roles, are worse than the disease. In order to weed out a few allegedly ineligible voters, Republicans have disenfranchised orders of magnitude more legitimate voters and would so so again.

To revisit your example of the Florida Gore v. Bush election debacle (it was 2000, not 2004), if the roughly 7000 (mostly Democratic) blacks who were demonstrably wrongly purged from the roles had not been, it likely would not have been close at all for President Gore. This may have served the purposes of the Republican party, but it was a dark day for democracy and fair elections.
