NH Grouch, the latest election would lead one to believe that those with their hands out begging for money to be stoled from taxpayers and given to them are actually around 54% of the electorate.

Get ready for hyperinflation since our financial institutions are following the South American model of how to handle a monetary crisis. Unfortunatelly I do not know a good way to insulate against hyperinflation.

I agree with much of Mr. Brewton's article but disagree with one statement:
"...evidenced currently in the public's unwillingness to reduce government spending..." which implies that society as a whole is in favor of more government spending and involvement. Had he said "much of the public" he would have been closer to the truth.

There are still many out here who recognize government is not the answer to all our problems and that throwing money at problems doesn't necessarily end them. We also recognize the blatant corruption that runs through government and are angered by the free spending cabal of criminals.

Of course the have not's, connivers and those who game the system are all for spending money as long as it's yours and they are the recipients of it. And while that number is growing I'd like to think they are not the majority!
