Though, I would like to hear alternative views to the "don't rock the Pakistani government" position. That is a little too much like the "we still need Saddam" position that brought us so much grief. From what you describe, it sounds more like one more house in need of a good cleaning. What really makes the "don't rock the boat" policy more 'appropriate' is the character of our new President; so very different from the man he replaces. Thank you, Mr. Silverberg.
