It was real football, sitting in the snow, in the bleachers, at Briggs Stadium on Thanksgiving Day with my Dad and my Grandpa. By the forth quarter all the Lions were covered with mud, except for Bobby who was standing in the pocket and throwing his wounded duck pass down the field. I met Bing once in the church basement and I couldn't beleive God could make a man that big. Bobby couldn't make it to the church. He was busy getting drunk.
