Subject: Recent Detroit News Article

DETROIT (AP) - Detroit Police spokesmen said officers found a 'John Doe' male body in the Detroit River on Monday. Officers attributed the apparent accidental drowning to a wide variety of drugs and alcohol found in the victim's bloodstream.

Officers described the unidentified deceased body as an African-American male, about 6' 2" tall weighing 235 pounds. At the time the body was discovered, it was dressed in black fishnet stockings, a red garterbelt, strap-on dildo, and a Detroit Lions football jersey. The coroner also reported a vegetable, believed to be cucumber, found in the victim's rectal cavity.

The spokesman said officers responding to the scene thoughtfully removed the Lions jersey to spare the family any unnecessary embarrassment.

I remember Bobby Layne, Lou Creekmur, Yale Larry, Leon Hart, Joe Schmidt, Les Bingaman, and Hop-along Cassady. It was real football, sitting in the snow, in the bleachers, at Briggs Stadium on Thanksgiving Day with my Dad and my Grandpa. By the forth quarter all the Lions were covered with mud, except for Bobby who was standing in the pocket and throwing his wounded duck pass down the field. I met Bing once in the church basement and I couldn't beleive God could make a man that big. Bobby couldn't make it to the church. He was busy getting drunk.
