As Ivan has observed, appeasement is as old as civilization. So what happens when peace is given a chance?

Ivan:

I agree that "buying off the enemy is as old as civilization," but how could King Solomon have bought of the Romans when he ruled around 950 BC and Rome wasn't established until about 750 BC, and their empire didn't extend to Israel until much later?

Buying off the enemy is as old as civilization. King Solomon bought off the Romans. The rulers of old Moscow bought off the Mongols. It was called Tribute at one time, but the payments always went from the weaker party to the stronger party. Why would anyone think that this pattern should be reversed? Are we no longer the stronger party?

This isn't social justice - it's a protection racket by an administration with certain cowardly way of thinking that would rather see our nation bankrupted than take firm stands when necessary.

It is not social justice when POTUS denies justice to created life and allows our foreign aid to fund abortion that all too often further denies and degrades the worth of women.
