I am not clear why you call “Saudi-owned US media” a stupid statement. The Saudis pump a lot of money into our media to shape public opinion and have been shown to have used that influence (unduly) to disguise wahabi connections, jihadist activities, and to silence anti-wahhabi criticisms. They also pump a lot of money into organizations like ISNA and CAIR (wahhabi front groups), mosques and madrassas in this country (teaching young muslims anti-Americanism and promoting the jihadist dogma), and in our prisons converting numerous convicts to Islam. If untrue the Saudis outright own our media, it is true our media (and academia) are unduly influenced by their propaganda and their money.
