Phil Mickelson shot a 66 at today's Doral Open and Tiger Woods shot a 70. If all things are equal, my 106 average should give me a good chance to beat both of these guys. Both of them are millionaires and I am not, so I should get a 110% handicap when playing them. It was some years back when Howard Gardner wrote about the seven different types of intelligence. Even if Mickelson, Woods and I are equal on the Stanford-Bidet test for IQ, it seems obvious that my Body Kinesthetic quotient is well below theirs so I only think it’s fair to give me 42 stroke advantage in the tournament making my score of 106 equal to a 64. With Prayad Marksaeng at 70, Jeev Milkha Singh at 71 coming in third and forth on the leader board it seems that white men are underrepresented and some affirmative action should be taken.
