		<description>I disagree with your premise that reducing the size of the thug will reduce corruption. As you point out, there is corruption at all levels. 

What is needed is not to reduce tax but to abolish it entirely. It is legalized theft, so no wonder there is corruption. What is also needed is to abolish the pseudolaw, the mountains of regulations &amp; legislature dictating how people are to live, do business, have sex, etc. etc.

The whole mess needs replacement. I submit that a single Law, a Law of Human Interaction, be put in the place of that mess. This law would state that NO one person or group has the right to initiate the use of force. 

At present the &quot;Government&quot; is exempt from this law. Just because the ability to levy taxes was included from the beginning, and was enshrined in the Constitution, does not mean it is a just and proper way to pay for proper government. Rather, it has given rise to the terrible monstrosity of &quot;Government&quot; acting like criminals, extorting and blackmailing and stealing left, right AND center.
