Don’t act like this scenario is limited to Obama or liberals, oops, progressives. It’s a political tactic and it’s been around for a while. Bush & Co. new it too. “Mission Accomplished”? Really? "Clear Skies Initiative"? Really? "No Child Left Behind"? Really? I don't blame Bush & Co. for these tactics. It's smart politics. It's narrative control, stupid. But seriously, of course it was a bow, but all modern White House press offices know that in America’s insane media universe, perception is more important than reality. (Besides, what's more significant: a) a bow - a gesture of respect or b) a close family relationship - Bush and the House of Saud?)
