Don’t act like this scenario is limited to Obama or liberals, oops, progressives. It’s a political tactic and it’s been around for a while.

Bush &amp; Co. new it too. “Mission Accomplished”? Really? &quot;Clear Skies Initiative&quot;? Really? &quot;No Child Left Behind&quot;? Really? 

I don&#039;t blame Bush &amp; Co. for these tactics. It&#039;s smart politics. It&#039;s narrative control, stupid.

But seriously, of course it was a bow, but all modern White House press offices know that in America’s insane media universe, perception is more important than reality. (Besides, what&#039;s more significant: a) a bow - a gesture of respect or b) a close family relationship - Bush and the House of Saud?)</description>
