Good article. Now, how about writing on Romney’s idea of distributing GM stock to the tax payers. Having lived in Michigan most of my life, served an apprenticeship with Chrysler, worked for GM for a few months, and then dealing with GM as an engineer for 16 years, I know a little about the automotive business. The problems at GM could be seen over the last 40 years but these problems were not to kind of thing that Washington apparatchiks can fix. Public ownership is the only way to save this industry and the 60% ownership now residing in the hands of Obama should be distributed to each taxpayer in proportion to their tax bill. This would encourage people to buy GM and then they would benefit from the profits.</description>
