The textbooks our children learn from in public school do all they can to destroy and distort the history of the country. Our main stream media; once the ever watchful fourth estate, has become the shill for any administration attempt to expand the welfare state. I believe that soon, most of us in our middle 50's will no longer recognize the country. I'm also certain that at least one-third of the nation would read such a statement and say; "Good; and about time too!" That you can learn more about a man from his failures than you can from his successes is true for countries as well. Our focus on multiculturalism, non-judgmentalism, redistributive justice will irrevocably alter the contract between the state and the people of this nation. Once we cross that line, there'll be no returning.
