The bottom line on why what liberals do or try to do being unconstitutional is that in order to make their Utopia possible, individuals' rights have to be taken away. Since we can't overtly do that, it must be disguised, as you point out; or, the emphasis has to shift from the individual to group rights. Mr. Mgrdechian:

Since everything liberals do is the tyranny the constitution was meant to protect us from, the logical conclusion is liberalism = tyranny. Liberals are just better at disguising (at least superficially) it as benevolence.
