Bernie,

At the finish of your post you say; “Obama has set the stage for unintended consequences that can spell disaster for national and global tranquility.” I think the statement is in error.

In the beginning of that last paragraph you write that: “Replacing a strong nuclear and conventional defense with cheap talk of the goodness of man; not making the economy strong again with sensible policies; bankrupting the government with socialistic spending schemes on health care; and assuring the demise of capitalism with loony policies on global warming…”

While it is certainly true that President Obama is working overtime to bring every portion of that above statement to fruition; none of the consequences of these actions of his are ‘unintended’.

To disarm America, bankrupt the government, enact federal control over as many of the population as possible through universal health care, and to complete the destruction of the American economic engine are all intended.

President Obama is a serial narcissist. He will do what is required in order to remake this country in his own image. Once he’s gelded the American ability to project power beyond its boarders; militarily, socially, economically, and politically; he believes that a new era of cooperation will ensue, with him at its head.

He cares not one whit for what this country ever was, he doesn’t for one minute buy into the theme of American exceptionalism. He believes in the ‘unexceptionalism’ of the country. All should be the same. Same salary, same health care plan, same house, same education, same uninspiring future; with the exception of the global ruling elite, which of course, he and his progeny will be charter members.
