Marriage is a religious institution. Get the government out of it completely, and let the Church decide whom will be married. Marriage is a private, personal, religious institution. The only entity that should license it is the religious organization under which and for which it is undertaken. From a government/legal context, "marriage" is nothing more or less than a for-fee contract that serves to provide local governments with a steady stream of revenue. I do think it's hilariously ironic, however, that a guy who thinks the government should be in charge of harvesting organs from terminally ill patients without consent and that the constitution guarantees the right to a government-funded abortion suddenly finds the state so objectionable.
