“I have to tell you, [Senator Obama] is a decent person, and a person that you do not have to be scared as President of the United States.”
- John McCain, Town Hall meeting in Lakeville, Minnesota, October 11, 2008.
Note the date of this quote: about a month BEFORE the election. Now, McCain may wanted to have appeared gracious and decent, but it seems more than that. Not only was he all but throwing in the towel, but more importantly, it implies that he didn’t believe in his own message (and that he never really wanted to win). This is backed by the horrible abandonment of Sarah Palin by the McCain campaign, essentially letting her be devoured by the Left without standing up for her, or at least for her conservative principles.
The conclusion one show draw from this is that McCain is NOT a principled politician. He may be pragmatic, but even pragmatists understand to not surrender several weeks before the election.
This race in Arizona is over, McCain will win. JD Hayworth is not a political genius, in fact, he is no genius at all. JD is about as unintelligent as they come. JD blew this campaign before it even began. JD is not only the biggest hypocrite we have seen in a long time, but he continues to dig himself in a hole that he cannot dig out of. JD needs to keep his big spending way far away from our already out of control government.
Hayworth is not Tea Party Material unless the Tea Party group was specifically formed with the intent to endorse Hayworth – what a joke RAP (radical american patriot).
Hayworth’s H.R.3938: “Enforcement First Immigration Reform Act of 2005” http://phoenixteaparty.ning.com/profiles/blogs/hayworths-hr3938-enforcement what a porker bill this is and Hayworth states (just again on July 5) that SB 1070 was modeled after it – take a hike Hayworth, you had twelve years and didn’t get it done. Got fired and wrote a book on what you didn’t do (that didn’t sell well at all).
The Grassroots movement in America wants less government. Look at this bill and its progressive increases in federal employees in multiple areas stepped over five years – wouldn’t you think at year two or three there would be no need to add more judges and lawyers and etc., this is Tea Party material?

Get a grip people, Hayworth after 12 years gets a grade of “C”, Harry Mitchell has the same grade. All Hayworth is focused on is the Mexican Border – all else are welcome – look at his voting record.
Energy Policy Act of 2005: Hayworth stated on january 28, 2010 the day of this post that it was the “Pilot” to coming Cap & Tax.
The Energy Policy Act of 2005 established tax credits/incentives to entice one to alter their behavior concerning energy.
Cap & Tax being pushed today by progressives distort The Energy Policy Act of 2005 tax credits/incentives to a change your behavior or pay penalty. Yes Hayworth was right when he said it was the ‘PILOT’ to Cap & Tax. It was the gateway, he knew it in 2005, knows it now and wants to be re-elected.

Hayworth voted for it.
Levin supports Hayworth as he supported nothing that would fundamentally change this nation – what about No Child Left Behind and the Patriot Act.
