The Practice Of Division And Baiting Only Creates “Useful Idiots”

Many people in society think that by following along with the mantra of class warfare and inciting racism at every turn that they will bring about sweeping changes in society and in human nature.

Over the course of time many people have fallen prey to be "useful idiots" supporting bad policies and bad ideologies. It is said that the term "useful idiots" was coined by Lenin, about those in the West who supported naïvely Communist doctrine and the Soviet regime in general. Other examples in history can be attributed to those in the West who supported the Nazis. In both Great Britain and in the United States you had those who supported Hitler and the Nazis, these people were "useful idiots" as well. Both Communism and Fascism goes against the general premise of what the West has stood for over the course of history.

Many today in the United States and in the West are following in the footsteps of these people for many of the same reasons and for many other reasons as well. One thing that these people do not comprehend at first is that they are the ones that are actually being played. They think that by following along with the mantra of class warfare and inciting racism at every turn that they will bring about sweeping changes in society and in human nature. By allowing themselves to fall into the traps being placed around them, those that are out to exploit them along emotional lines have unwittingly recruited them to became the foot soldiers of division and unrest. In both the rise of the Communists in Imperial Russia and in the Rise of the Nazis in Germany you had those that pulled the strings of discontent not to improve society, or to find peaceful resolution to the hardships that were occurring but to agitate discourse.

Today we have prominent community leaders and political leaders that are out stirring up the engines of discontent instead of taking on the hard problems facing our generation. Instead of addressing the issues that we face today in a rational way, they have turned to the tried and true method of polarization and divide and conquer. Some seem so content to set racial relations back by a hundred years, while others are set on destroying the economic system that has allowed people from all walks of life the same opportunity to achieve as much as they are willing to put effort into.

By always looking for a boogie man to place blame on, these provocateurs of division have deflected blame from themselves and for much of what they stood for that has helped lead us to many of the problems we face today. While it is true that many things goes into getting us to where we are at today, one thing that many would not like to take into account is that it takes personal responsibility and a minimal amount of self determination to not fall prey to be led down a path of emotional dissonance. As we allow for misinformation to be spread by those that are in the media and by those that are supposed to be invested in the best interest of our communities, we only weaken the opportunity for progress in recovering from our economic morass that we as a nation have been entangled in.

During Hitler's rise to power in Germany he had the those that used intimidation as a tool to achieve the goals that he wanted. Today we see this same tactic emerging from many of those on the left that are willing to achieve their goal by any means possible. We have those that are now calling for shutting down our government along the same lines that the Egyptians used last spring, at the same time we have witnessed many leaders in the Black community ginning up racial division. Combine this with a lack of true history being taught to generations of children, and the agenda driven media covering for failed policies and we are entering into a dangerous stage in the history of this Republic. What has not been taught to these folks that will be easily swayed into following along blindly to these provocateurs is that once their usefulness has come to an end, they too will become expendable. If the elements that would like to take charge come to power and feel threatened they will go about purging those that they deem the most threat in the future to their consolidation of power. First they do go after those that oppose them, but in the end they target those that supported them as well. The "Night of the Long Knives" for instance is an example, as well as the purges that Stalin wrought upon his people.

Critical thinking is important today more than ever. In our education system this has been assaulted at every turn, and we are starting to see the fallout from this practice, with the inability of our youth to see through the fog that the media and the "educators" of our young adults. In essence brainwashing them to become the "Useful Idiots" needed to support the bad policies and ideologies that have failed time and again throughout history. True history has not been told to those in the African American community about the policies that have held so many of this community back, nor has it been pointed out to them that much of what their so called leaders support once they get into the halls of government actually work against the community that they are supposed to be advocating for. It is easy to fall back on the tried and true practice of division and baiting, but it takes fortitude and honesty to address it with a sense of critical thought.

Despite all the attacks on those that do speak out against those that want to divide us rather than unite us truth will prevail. As long as you speak the truth and do not allow for intimidation to silence you, at some point you as an individual will break through to those that are being led down the slippery slope of division and agitation. The practice of division and baiting only creates "Useful Idiots"!

Don't allow yourself to become one of those "Useful Idiots" in History.
