In June 2004, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops agreed to address the scandal of sacrilegious reception of the Eucharist by pro-abortion politicians. Did the proposal solve the problem? [...] For some U.S. bishops to deny and other U.S. bishops to not deny Holy Communion to pro-abortion politicians is a source of disunity and confusion for the entire universal Church and a grave scandal against the faithful worldwide. [...] Do you agree that Archbishop Donald W. Wuerl of the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. should obediently enforce Canon 915 of the Code of Canon Law as the Vatican has explicitly instructed all bishops to do? [...] Is Cardinal Mahony defying the Vatican’s recent teachings regarding worthiness to receive Holy Communion by placing a ‘gay’ Rainbow upon a Sacred Christian symbol, the fish? [...] The photographic and video evidence reveals that partial birth abortion is a surgical act of infanticide. [...] The Vatican's Instruction leaves no doubt that no one with any homosexual tendencies, be they deep rooted or transitory, can be ordained. [...] Eighteen states have overwhelmingly approved state constitutional bans for same-sex marriage. [...] In November, Texans will vote on Proposition 2, a constitutional amendment prohibiting same-sex marriage, civil unions, and domestic partnerships. [...] Citizens of every state must work to enact state constitutional amendments to protect the sacredness of marriage in America, the most fundamental institution of civilization. [...] The obligation of the marriage, as instituted by the Creator, is two-fold: fidelity and fecundity. [...] Where Peter is, there is the Church. [...] Father Charles E. Bouchard claims that Terri Schiavo — as a Christian — should “forego the very limited benefits of a feeding tube and embrace God’s promise of eternal life with hope.” [...] Judge George Greer has rejected mountains of evidence and medical information that would have saved Terri Schiavo from husband Michael and attorney George Felos’ suspicious quest to have her murdered. [...] Archbishop Harry Flynn’s recent clarification of his support of the Rainbow Sash Movement seems to indicate that he will accept clearly defined Church teaching only as a recommendation. [...] The “Rainbow Sash Movement” has called on those who oppose the Catholic Church’s teachings on sodomy to wear a Rainbow Sash on May 15, 2005 in a parish or a Cathedral, and the Archbishop of St. Paul and Minneapolis intends to support them. [...] Disobedience by Church leaders to Church teachings contributes to the disorder which rules creation that was once subject to Divine Order. [...] Sixty million U.S. Catholic laity is scandalized and confused by the refusal of most Bishops to dutifully govern and correct pro-abortion candidates. [...] A letter to Pope John Paul II on behalf of the National Fight4Terri Volunteer Action Groups. [...] According to the Catholic doctrine of proportionate reasons, civil law must often tolerate a lesser evil in order to avoid a greater one. On abortion, it is clear that President Bush would "limit the harm" more than his opponent, John Kerry. [...] Fr. Greeley misrepresented His Eminence Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, when he stated that Catholics may vote for Presidential candidate John Kerry, who promotes procured abortion. [...] Archbishop Raymond L. Burke is disappointed that Cardinal McCarrick and Bishop Gregory withheld Cardinal Ratzinger’s Memo at the U.S. Council of Catholic Bishop's June meeting in Denver. [...] In his memo to the American bishops, Cardinal Ratzinger said, “The minister of Holy Communion must refuse to distribute it.” He did not say ‘could,’ or ‘may,’ but that he “must.” [...] Bishop Robert Francis Vasa has confirmed that Cardinal Ratzinger's memorandum on worthiness to receive holy communion was withheld from the Conference of Bishops at their June meeting in Denver.
