Allen West versus Mitt Romney. [...] Barack Obama’s latest iteration lasted for more than an hour, and could more precisely be characterized as the “state of Obama’s ego.” [...] Santorum's purpose for involving government in such controversial issues as the right to life of the unborn is simple and inarguable. [...] It is extremely telling that Romney’s strategy has been to prevail by ascending above a divided field of conservatives. [...] To date, the Republican presidential “debates” have done little more than denigrate the entire field of candidates. [...] The latest debacle over the “Keystone Pipeline,” and the ongoing games being played with it by a callous and indifferent White House, give ample proof that whatever his real intentions may be, Barack Obama is not interested in achieving real, workable solutions to the problems facing America . Rather, he views each ensuing catastrophe as [...] Conservatives scored a victory by defeating the nomination of Caitlin Halligan to the U.S. Court of Appeals. [...] America, Europe, and indeed the entire world have moved dangerously beyond that point in which mere adjustments and fine-tuning will initiate a magical fix that might allow the statist monstrosities to remain intact. [...] Increasingly, “Occupy” events throughout the nation are becoming anarchistic zones of unchecked assault, robbery, rape, and even murder. [...] The moment any true conservative moves to the political forefront, the script books are opened and a methodical deconstruction of that individual begins. [...] Conservatives have been warning for weeks that the left would most certainly engage in just such behavior once Cain’s star began to rise. However, it was not long before the advent of the Clinton Presidency thoroughly discredited such claims and, more significantly, proved the entire liberal/Democrat establishment to be entirely phony in its professed concern [...] If allowed to press forward with his agenda, Barack Obama will ensure that as Europe goes, so goes America. [...] If the current regime is merely supplanted by an insipid or unremarkable Republican, America will simply languish for a while amid the horrendous damage that has been perpetrated over the past few years, awaiting the eventuality of the future Democrat who will simply continue the process. [...] First the left tried to copy the right with talk radio and failed. Now it is trying to copy the Tea Party with its Occupy Wall Street protests. It will also fail. [...] The grim truth is that if Cain does indeed rise to the top and receive his party’s nomination, he will be the ultimate target of authentic and unrelenting racism and hate, which is the fate of any, regardless of ethnicity, who dare to thwart the liberal agenda. [...] With each passing day, another attempt is made by the "mainstream" media to chip away a little more of Perry’s initial momentum. [...] The essence of Paul Krugman’s new book is that the ten-year commemorations of the September 11 attacks seem “subdued” because President Bush, New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and their minions “hijacked” and exploited the original event for their own purposes, thereby trivializing it. [...] A political candidate who ignores social issues is neither intellectually honest nor sufficiently ethically grounded to be trusted with the reins of leadership in this dangerous time. [...] The Washington elite, along with their media minions, may have reason to despise Perry, and may rant endlessly about what they claim to be his deficiencies. [...] Devotion to fiscal sanity is "draconian" and "mean spirited." Concern for the moral preservation and restoration of the nation and its foundational institutions including traditionally defined marriage, is "homophobic" and "hateful." Protection of the unborn is "sexist" and "anti-woman." Recognition of the cultural and spiritual roots of the nation, and their critical importance to its [...] The left's latest tactics involving smearing the Tea Party will backfire. [...] So fast and furious have been the concerted assaults on the institutions and foundations of the nation that the erosion and destruction is no longer easy to assess from the perspective of individual events. [...] Instead of owning up to this fiasco that they allowed, Republicans are insulting the nation with the latest, desperate RINO talking points. In no way should America be consoled by the excuse that they "did the best they could" under the circumstances, since they "only control one third of the government." [...] The nation has not yet hit rock bottom economically, but certain sectors such as California's government appear determined to get it there before any serious effort can be made to change course. [...] That those students would pass through a critically flawed system, never gaining the proper level of academic training from it, and be thereafter consigned to face life at an intellectually diminished status was of little concern to Atlanta School Superintendent Beverly Hall and her cabal.
