Telling Africans they can't have electricity and economic development – except what can be produced with some wind turbines or little solar panels – is immoral. Anti-pesticide activists are perpetuating malaria and killing Africans. Responsible researchers, journalists and officials should focus on malaria – not insecticides. The bank should get out of malaria control – and do what it was created to do. |
