Over a year after his confirmation, Attorney General Eric Holder finally confessed to concealing his advocacy on behalf of Jose Padilla. Governor David Paterson has developed a plan to thwart US immigration law. While politicians such as President Barack Obama denigrate the government of Arizona and "activists" attempt to punish that state's citizens, these so-called social justice paragons ignore the fact that the U.S. is Mexico's de facto penal colony. The USS John Murtha sets sail. While the Obama administration focuses on prosecuting law enforcement officials, Arizona has passed sweeping legislation to curb illegal immigration. A bombing incident at a U.S. consulate in Mexico received very little news media attention and absolutely no response from President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton or Attorney General Eric Holder. The Obama administration rejected the recommendation of career lawyers in the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division to prosecute Minister King Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson, members of the New Black Panther Party, for voter intimidation. But he sure is doing a good job prosecuting American intelligence agents. The Obama administration declares war on Joe Arpaio. Arpaio is white, and whites in law enforcement are, you know, racist. The terrorist is Muslim and in the country illegally, but that is probably just a coincidence. There is a major problem… between so-called conservative politicians and the conservative bloggers and commentators. The problem is there is hardly any relationship to speak of. Except for think-tanks such as the Heritage Foundation, there's scant building of relationships, little cooperation and, if anything, the GOP attempts to avoid contact with the blogosphere. Despite the best efforts of George W. Bush, Nancy Pelosi, and Dennis Hastert to obstruct the FBI's investigation, justice prevailed in the Jefferson case. President Obama remains popular even as his policies are opposed by a majority of Americans. Either intentionally or unintentionally, United States news media outlets are ignoring the violence perpetrated by Muslims against Christians in Iraq. The latest crisis off the coast of Africa where Somali pirates hijacked a US flag ship is not something that suddenly materialized out of thin air.
