The misunderstanding of the Church's motives has spewed such hatred, that some sane folks seem to have lost their powers of reasoning. Arpaio is white, and whites in law enforcement are, you know, racist. The mother of Intellectual Conservative and wife of a pastor tells the NAE that Congressional testimony by NAE President Leith Anderson critical of Christians who do not pander to illegal immigrants does not represent us. The Republican Party must stop stereotyping Hispanics. Propping up liberal Republican Hispanics who actively lobby against illegal immigration measures does not represent most Hispanics, who are not one-issue voters. At the same time, the right needs to let Hispanics celebrate their culture without giving them grief. It is the Republican Party that still supports the idea of American exceptionalism; a belief that immigrants apparently share or they wouldn't be here. The liberal judiciary uses legal tricks to protect racial preferences, especially when it is the entity operating them. The suspicious circumstances surrounding the Department of Justice's investigation of Sheriff Joe Arpaio for supposedly "racial profiling" illegal immigrants. Although Napolitano's fingerprints have been scrubbed from the letter, her DNA influence on the content would be hard to miss.

Mexico continues to be the source or entry point for the vast majority of the narcotics that are consumed in the US. Mexico is the leading transit country for cocaine and heroin consumed in the US. It is also the leading source country for marijuana and now methamphetamine. Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano has done little to protect the state from illegal immigration, and under her leadership Arizona is now tied for last place in the nation for emergency disaster preparedness. Obama probably selected Napolitano because she is one of a small handful of Democrats who fit the necessary stereotype of "tough," and she [...] Phoenix law enforcement says that Phoenix has now become "ground zero" for the violent Mexican drug cartels. There has been a 325% increase in kidnapping for ransom cases in Maricopa County since 2005. Considering Governor Napolitano's abysmal record on illegal immigration in her own state, she is a rotten choice to head up Homeland Security. However, leaving the state with a $2 billion deficit and a police state of speed cameras on every highway throughout the state, Arizonans are glad to see her go. Even easier than brainwashing new voters is importing them. A nationwide survey of actual voters reveals that Americans strongly support immigration enforcement, and that less than one-third of Obama voters favor granting amnesty to illegal aliens. When the government investigation is complete, we will know that many of those responsible for the carnage were illegal aliens, just like some of the 9/11 terrorists. Overall, 16.5% of violent crimes in Maricopa County can be linked to illegal immigrants. The average cost for each offense? A whopping $20,000, which includes prosecution, incarceration, and other costs.
