Lately the left wing media pundits have been lamenting the inability of the Obama administration to enact policy. From health care to cap & trade; the administration's failure to move the nation quickly leftward has caused many to opine that the system is broken.

Not surprisingly, U.S. mayors are lining up to receive federal tax dollars. Rather than listening to the American public, President Obama and his Democrat allies insist on jamming the same flawed health care bill through Congress. After the dog and pony show put up by the President on February 25th he's now content to shove this progressive power grab down the collective throats of the American people, and damn the consequences to his party or the people. The idea that government must keep itself busy with major legislation and social programs is responsible for much of our nation's present problems. The mainstream press isn't above using a sad case of a man's suicide in an attempt to marginalize the opponents of the progressive Obama administration. Barack Obama (Ver 2.0) endeavors to remake his image while resolutely maintaining his drive to move America as far to the left as possible. It isn't necessarily true that a legislative supermajority precludes presidential leadership. It may be a matter of political ideology or personality instead. When will the Congress and the Administration ever stop spending money we don't have? Hayworth will win for this simple reason: This is a Tea Party revolt year, and Arizona's Republicans and Tea Partiers have had enough of McCain's support of this administration's bailouts and big-government policies.
