The Hillary Servergate Scandal Just Got Bigger

svrgtA U.S. government official close to the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email server said that at least a dozen other people saw “top secret” level intelligence within those emails. A second source who spoke off the record to Fox News said as many as 30 individuals may have seen the emails.

The Department of Justice now has leverage against Hillary Clinton: offer her aides a deal in return for testifying against her. “The Justice Department can indict her top aides and trade with them … testimony against Mrs. Clinton in return for a deal with them,” Judge Andrew Napolitano said on Fox News. Whether the Obama DoJ will use the leverage to go after Obama’s former secretary of state is another question.

Hillary Clinton’s top national security and foreign policy staffer Jake Sullivan, who is now a senior policy adviser on her presidential campaign, was the author of several of the top secret emails. The accounts that accessed the emails belonged to her top aides, including Huma Abedin, and there is no public indication any of them were authorized to see the information. Congressional Republicans are trying to find out whether any of the aides were instructed to send sensitive material through the unsecured email system.
